We're not comfortable on camera, will that come through in the film?
Almost every couple says this before the wedding, and almost none feel that way once the day starts. Give it twenty minutes into the day and you'll forget there's a lens there at all. What you get is you, not a performance.
Will you be directing us, or getting in the way all day?
Most of your day unfolds candidly, I'm just there to capture it, not stage it. For the handful of moments that only happen once, I will step in and guide you, because those deserve to be gotten right, not left to chance.
We already booked a photographer, do we need a film too?
A photo tells you what a moment looked like. A film is the only thing that lets you hear your father's voice again, hear the room laugh, watch your partner's face in real time. They're not doing the same job.
Will we actually watch it years from now?
When the food is gone and the tables are folded up, what do you have left? Couples come back to their film on anniversaries, and one day to show their kids the day it all started. I want you to feel like it is happening again, every single time.
What does this cost, and is it worth it?
Investment begins at $2,500. A lot of vendors show up and record the day, that's coverage. What you get is different, a complete film with a real beginning, middle, and end, made to be watched again, not just footage of what happened. The wedding lasts one day. This is what lets you return to it for the rest of your life.
Why does it take 8 weeks to get our film?
From your wedding day to the finished film in your hands takes 8 weeks. That is not how long it takes me to finish. It is how long I refuse to rush.
